Eder Flores, program associate

A program associate based in Southern California, Eder supports CLP’s work across the region. He brings a rich variety of experience in California community colleges. Most recently, he coordinated career technical education pathways, including dual enrollment, at Rio Hondo College in Whittier and collaborated with local high schools and adult education. Earlier, he was an advisor and a student services assistant at Rio Hondo and worked as a program assistant at East Los Angeles College. And much earlier he was a student at ELAC.

Eder also has worked as a behavioral interventionist at Vista Center for Behavioral Analysis, a personal caregiver and in-home nursing aide, an assistant in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and a caregiver for autistic young adults with Jay Nolan Community Services.

Eder holds an associate’s degree from ELAC, a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in history and art history, and a master’s in education from the University of Southern California. His passions include participating in Spartan Races and taking his niece on Disney adventures.
