Long Beach City College and Long Beach Unified School District

CLP is honored to again support the partnership between Long Beach Unified School District, Long Beach City College, and California State University Long Beach faculty. Based on pathway mapping conducted between LBUSD high school health programs and LBCC health programs of study, CLP was asked by the LBUSD California Career Pathways Trust to support the re/design of a 9-16 Health Information Technology pathway from LBUSD to LBCC and CSU LB.

CLP provides the K-16 partnership support with strategic planning, course sequence mapping to ensure development and institutionalization of supported intersegmental transition and early college credit opportunities, faculty and staff community of practice facilitation, subject matter expertise in Health ICT pathways, including Health Information Systems and Health Informatics, course sequencing and curriculum development support, and dissemination of best practices and lessons learned.
