City College of San Francisco and San Francisco Unified School District

The CLP team is honored to support the San Francisco California Career Pathways Trust (SF CCPT) grant. The SF CCPT is a partnership between City College of San Francisco, San Francisco Unified School District, San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, as well as non-profit organizations devoted to workforce development and student success, including the California Life Sciences Institute.

SF CCPT is a four-year project focused on increasing San Francisco K-14 student success, particularly completion of pathways to support employment, as well as transfer, in critical regional sectors, especially for underrepresented students. SFUSD pathways and CCSF departments participating include, Information Communication Technology/Digital Media and Biosciences.

CLP, in coordination with ConnectED, provides the K-14 partnership support with strategic planning, course sequence, asset, and process mapping to ensure development and institutionalization of supported intersegmental transition, early college credit opportunities, and work-based learning, faculty and staff community of practice facilitation, professional development, and evaluation and dissemination, including the development of a SF CCPT pathway tool kit.

The CCSF departments supporting this effort include Computer Networking and Information Design (CNIT), Computer Science, and Visual and Media Design. CNIT offers 9 certificates. Computer Science offers 6 certificates. Visual Media Design offers 9 certificates that cluster under graphic design, visual media production, digital illustration, digital animation, web front end production, and game development. All offer an Associate degree.
