Denise Swett is a consultant with the Career Ladders Project and has over 20 years of experience in higher education. She is currently the Dean of the Middlefield Campus at Foothill College, and has been the Vice President of student services at Caņada College and the Dean of students at Chabot College. She was also part of the leadership team in student services at the University of San Francisco. Denise has taught graduate and undergraduate courses focusing on issues and trends in higher education, and has served as an educational consultant for colleges, universities, vocational and private institutions, in areas including recruitment and retention, enrollment management, continuing education, strategic planning, marketing, student services, grant writing and child care. Denise serves on the advisory board for Community and Two-Year Colleges for the National Association of Student Services Administrators (NASPA) and has an Ed.D. from the University of San Francisco and a MPA and BS from San Jose State University.
