Vision 2030: Access, Success & Support with Equity for High School and Justice Involved Youth

Join us at a two-day convening of college leaders and practitioners to explore the role of dual enrollment in transforming education for students including justice system-involved youth.

Workshops and breakout sessions include:

  • Teaching on the inside: culturally relevant curricula and pedagogy and establishing a college culture for detained youth
  • Neural plasticity of psychological development and diverse learning abilities for justice involved youth
  • Using data to identify equity gaps in dual enrollment
  • Effective youth transition strategies from detention to college campuses post release
  • Supporting priority populations in dual enrollment: Umoja, Foster Youth, and Food and Housing Insecure Students
  • Planning dual enrollment pathways
  • Integrating credible messengers to support youth development
